Wrapping Plant with Foil Paper

Many florists use colored foil paper to decorate plants.  These instructions will make this task easy.  The extra work used in these instructions will set your plant apart from the discount stores.

Cut off a piece of foil in the shape of a square (around 20").  Fold in half.

Fold in half again.

Fold in half again.

One more time in half.

Now open the folds and place the plant in the middle.  You will then start hugging the foil next to the plant as you work around the plant in a circle.

Cut a piece of ribbon to go around the plant.  Pull ribbon around the back and tie in a knot in front of plant.  Make your bow and put bow on a pick.  Place the picked bow in between the foil and ribbon down into the dirt in the front of plant.  This will always hold the foil up nicely next to plant.

This is an example of what your plant will look like.

Keep the folds straight as this will give a more professional look.
