This idea uses the vine wrapping from an 10" wreath we have soaked in water and was using to make a swag. The outer wrapping comes off in one piece and will look like a star. We attached the vine into the plant with wired plant picks. We then hung a small birdhouse in the middle, added moss and tiny silk. The bow was made with rope from the local hardware store and green plaid ribbon. Added matching silk and finished. This plant sold to the very next customer. | ||

To make this plant arrangement, you soak a 8" wreath and take about a
fourth of the vine, strength double in size then twist in the middle. Wire to
hold. We took an ivy plant and transplanted into terra cotta pot. We attached the grapevine by wiring to a plant pick and pushing into soil on one side. We attached the bow to the middle of the vine then glued the ribbon to the terra cotta pot on other side. |

If you are tired of hat baskets, cut the top off of the basket, glue ribbon in loops around the edge, slip in your plant and put a bow in front. |  |
