Wiring Daisies and Mums 

The technique of wiring daisies and button mums is the same.  Cut the stem about 2 inches from the flower and slide the wire up through the stem and flower, fold the wire down to form a loop and pull the wire loop down into the flower.  Next, tape the wire and stem together.  
 
Make sure you tape the stem well as this will help hold moisture in the flower.  I also recommend spraying the flower with Floral Mist or Crowning Glory (allow to dry) before storing in your refrigerator.
