Colonial bouquet (wedding bouquet):  Americanized version of the English nosegay.  It may be somewhat larger than the original nosegay size.

 Stuff a vase with paper and put the handle down into the vase to hole while working.  Start by putting greenery around the edge.
    

Most generally the center flower will determine the main color.
    

  

Keep adding flowers.  A base of flowers with more standing on top looks natural.
  

The sign of a professional design is when they cover the mechanics of the bouquet.  Glue greenery pieces to cover the back and ribbon over handle.
