How To Arrange a Christmas Tree

This was a really a fun Christmas project. Project items are:

4 1/2 foot King Pine Tree (Silk)
12" Terra Cotta Pot
Masking Tape
Gold Spray Paint
6 - Blocks Foam
Hot Glue
3 - 1/4" Dowel Rods
Green Floral Tape
100 White Lights
Decorations (We have used white lights, gold and white berry stems and Christmas greenery bush

First we used masking tape to cover the bottom of terra cotta pot, in order to spray the top rim gold. Also you will spray the bottom tray gold. Next, hot glue foam into the pot.

Cover with moss.

Take the branches off of the bottom half of tree. Next, our tree trunk was not tall enough, so we took 1/4" dowel rods and attached to tree trunk with florist wire.

Florist tape is used to wrap entire trunk, then we have used removed tree branches to cover trunk.

Insert tree top into bottom trunk and add string of white lights. After stringing lights, bring extension cord down back of trunk before adding ribbon.

Next, add your decorations. We are using large leaf ivy, white and gold berries, and gold pine cones. Place in and around tree branches.

We have added ribbon by tying french knots. This is also very easy as all you do, is bring ribbon around trunk and tie (like you are going to tie your shoe), then take ribbon twist and change directions with ribbon before pulling to the back You also tie ribbon in back in the same way as front

There are a great many ideas for this piece. Front porch, wedding piece at reception, business entry and just many more.
